Life Groups

We offer weekly life groups, home bible studies, in addition to our Sunday Services. This is a great place to fellowship and build relationships while learning more about God, His principles and the Bible.

The upcoming fall semester will run for 14 weeks, September 1, 2010 - December 15, 2010. Here are the courses offered and information:

1. Financial Peace University (13 Week Course) Cost: $100.00 per family unit (one time fee)
   
   

   "Financial Peace University is designed to teach you and your family how to get out of debt, stay out of debt and build wealth. Your meet with you class each week to watch the video lesson and participate in discussion and accountability groups that will change your whole attitude about money."

   "Dave (Ramsey) breaks through the common financial jargon and explains how money really works in a simple, easy to understand style. You'll actually have fun as you learn about saving, budgeting, investing, insurance and more."

   The investment of $100.00 is well worth the money if you follow the teachings of Dave Ramsey. The average family eliminates $5,300.00 in debt while saving $2,700.00. Materials include: FPU workbook, Audio CD Library, Budgeting Forms, Financial Peace Book, FPU Envelope System, Tip cards, and debit Card Holder.

2. Discovering God's Way of Handling Money (8 Week Course) Cost: $10.00 per participant

Not only is Discovering God's Way of Handling Money practical, but in it you will learn the profound impact managing money has on your relationship with God."

   You will look at such topics as: debt, seeking counsel, honesty, giving, work, savings and investing and teaching children about money.

3. Downpour: He will Come Like the Rain (12 Week Course) Cost: $17.00 per participant

4. The Call To Follow Christ: Six Disciplines for New and Growing Believers (7 Week Course) Cost: $10.00 Per participant
   
   

   Jesus said, "If anyone wants to come to Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily and follow Me" (Luke 9:23). Following Christ is a love relationship that leads to a walk of obedience. The Call To Follow Christ will help you understand and practice six Biblical disciplines: Abide in Christ, Live in the Word, Pray in Faith, Fellowship with Believers, Witness to the World, and Minister to Others. This seven week study lays a foundation for the Growing Disciples series, which helps new and growing believers strengthen their love relationship with Christ and develop a lifestyle of faithful, fruitful obedience. Once this course is done you will have the chance to dive deeper into one of the six disciplines to help you grow deeper and stronger in your walk with Jesus Christ. This is not just for new believers but is for anyone who wants to grow in their walk with Jesus Christ.

5. HomeBuilders: Building Your Marriage to Last (7 week course) Cost: $10.00 per participant

6. John MacArthur Bible Studies NT: Revelation (12 week course) Cost: $10.00 per participant

By focusing on meaning and context, it guides you toward application with probing questions, and provides ample space for journaling. Twelve lessons for churches, Bible study groups, and individuals."
